Bacon Wrapped Green Beans

Ingredientes
  

  • 700 grs green beans
  • 100 grs bacon
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper

Instrucciones
 

  • In a pan, bring water with salt to a boil. Add the green beans and boil them for 6-7 minutes. Drain and cool in an ice water bath to stop them from overcooking. Drain once completely cooled.
  • Wrap about 10 green beans in a strip of bacon and secure with a toothpick. Repeat the procedure with the rest of the ingredients. 
  • In a skillet, heat up the butter. Season the wraps with salt and pepper, place them in the skillet and cook on both sides until golden, around 8 minutes. Remove toothpicks before serving.

Notas

Tips:
  • Do not overcook the green beans so they stay crunchy.
  • You can add 1 tbsp baking soda to the water so that the green beans keep their bright green color.
