They are very similar to fried breaded chicken steaks, but crispier and better! We make these quite often at home as they are my husband’s favorite, and a bit of a twist to the regular version of breaded steaks. You will not regret making these!

Panko Chicken Tenders with Seeds

Ingredients
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
- 1/2 taza flour
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 120 grs de panko (or breadcrumbs)
- 80 grs crushed sesame and sunflower seeds (or any other seeds)
- A handful of unsweetened shredded coconut (optional)
- 1 cdta ground turmeric
- Salt and pepper
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, place the flour, ½ tsp salt and pepper; beaten eggs in a second bowl; panko, seeds, coconut, turmeric, salt and pepper in a third bowl.
- Coat each chicken strip with flour, shake off the excess, dip in the egg, transfer to the panko mixture and press to coat on both sides.
- Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat, reduce to medium-low and fry the chicken for 3 minutes on each side, or until golden and cooked through. Place on a tray and serve.
